Join Old City Cemetery Museums & Arboretum in Lynchburg, VA for rose and garden-related programming through the month of May! Antique roses will be available for sale on our grounds throughout the month as well. The link to view and order roses will be available in April. Check back for updates.

May 1 - Roses On Sale!

Come to Old City Cemetery & shop for roses, or peruse our online catalogue (available in April). We will be offering both climbing and shrub roses in a host of colors, shapes and sizes.

May 4 - Rose Festival

Join us for "Opening Weekend" of Rose Sale! We will have food trucks and vendors on the grounds, plus a Derby Hat Contest, kids activities and more! The event will take place from 10am to 3pm, and is free to attend!

May 12 - Mother's Day Rose Tour

A Lynchburg favorite thing to do for mom on Mother's Day! Bruce Christian hosts a fun and informative tour of our blooming rose collection. Free to attend but advanced registration is required. Click HERE to sign up! There is limited availability.

May 17 - Wine & Roses Garden Party

The capstone event of our annual Rose Festival, join us in the GraveGarden for a unique and beautiful evening of carefully selected wines and hors d'oeuvres, bourbon tasting, tours of the rose collection, and more as the sun sets over more than 450 antique roses.
